One of the keys to a good food safety management system is to have very competent third-party auditors assessing the organization’s management system. Value added audits are beneficial to the organization without compromising the impartiality and the integrity of the audit. In most cases, a good third-party auditor could provide food organizations the foundation for continuous improvement instead of simply looking for formal compliance to the clauses of the standard.
Third party auditors are not always well prepared to do audits. The ways and methods usually applied do not get the best results because the auditors tend to do the same activities in every audit not knowing that the mindset of the auditor should adapt to the circumstances.
The purpose of this training is to explain the skills and techniques to do a third-party audit adding value to the organization not limiting the audit to the compliance part, but including important aspects like capability, effectiveness and continuous improvement.
The course will prepare you to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit of a food safety management system to establish conformity with ISO 22000, ISO/TS 22002-1, FSSC22000 additional requirements, and in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.
